Nettipattam is an ornament used in Kerala and Tamil Nadu to decorate temple Elephants. Elephants wear it on its forehead. Nettipattam is made with Gold and Copper. It is an integral part of Kerala culture. Nettipattam and Muthukkuda are a contribution of Buddhism.
