Job Description
To monitor and timely escalation of all qualified infra alarms & follow up till closure to the field team to ensure maximum network uptime
to prevent major/minor incidents & Also ensure all alarms have work logs filled.
Monitoring all applications/OCs for delay/clearance /Alarm non reporting/BSCs not reporting alarms follow-up up & escalate it to Incident Analyst/Automation manager
major outage /Power fail monitoring /BCP support
An alarm surveillance engineer in telecom monitors and responds to alarms at telecom sites, and is responsible for the following tasks:
- Monitoring: Monitors alarms from various sites in the network and takes action based on the alarm's priority and severity
- Troubleshooting: Identifies the root cause of alarms and troubleshoots them
- Coordinating: Coordinates with field teams to send technicians to the site if needed
- Maintaining records: Maintains records of alarms and the actions taken to resolve them
- Reporting: Keeps track of recurring issues and reports them to the appropriate team
Telecom alarms are alerts for problems indicated by telco equipment, such as high temperatures, fans breaking down, and other hardware issues. These problems are typically weighted by importance as critical, major, or minor "severity" levels.
Qualification - Degree in Engineering/B Tech ( Electrical, Electronics & communication, CSC)
Relevant experience - Freshers with proficient subject knowledge or minimum 1 or 2 years experience in NOC/Field
Location - Delhi, Gurgaon
Work Nature - 24/7 rotational shift basis , with 2 consecutive week offs
