Role: Assistant Manager – Talent & Campus

Location: Mumbai, Head Office
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Job Level: 1
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in HR/Organizational Psychology with a keen interest in learning and talent
management domain
Experience
• Prior experience in HR that has provided the individual with the opportunity to understand
and diagnose business problems to arrive at performance improvement and learning needs.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 6-8 years of experience in HR with preferably one stint in learning and
talent management
OR
• Master’s Degree in HR or Org Psychology with 1-2 years of experience
Key Responsibilities
Godrej Agrovet is looking to hire an Assistant Manager for driving the Talent & Campus Portfolio. 

Job Responsibilities-:
• Solving talent challenges by building an internal talent pipeline:
o Development:
▪ Designing, driving, and managing level transition capability developing programs
to improve succession readiness.
▪ Leading other interventions aimed at critical talent pool like first time managers,
Sales team leads etc.

o Assessment: Driving and managing assessment centres for level transition for all
employees at GAVL to ensure appropriate talent assessment on readiness for the next
level

• Building a leadership pipeline through campus:
o Employer branding & Hiring:
▪ Building an employer brand to ensure GAVL is an employer of choice in our target
campuses.
▪ Hiring best talent which suits our requirements for Management trainee roles
through internships and direct hiring from campus.

o Engagement
▪ Ensuring engagement and excitement of campus hires for their new roles
through various initiatives and regular connects

o Careers & Development
▪ Ensuring career management for all our campus hires so that they can experience
a journey of growth in the organization through meaningful stints, projects, and
roles.
▪ Ensuring development interventions and support to campus hires to ensure they
can fast track their learning curve and meet their potential.

Skills Required
• Ability to solve problems through understanding of business priorities being able to link them
to the design of the initiative.
• Influencing – Ability to work with a diverse team across businesses and drive change through
processes, capability building and communication.
• Able to work with multiple data inputs collectively and create point of view supported by facts
to influence stakeholders.
• Communication and facilitation – Ability to effectively leverage communicate one-on-one as
well as with larger groups to drive desired outcomes.
