Department - Marketing Commercial
Reporting to Manager - Commercial 

Grade Executive Level N


Job Purpose
Handling administration (Brand support) and commercial aspects in Marketing Commercial (Ecommerce portfolio)

Primary Responsibilities

Business Responsibility Areas

1. Handling E-commerce operations: coordination with multiple stakeholder i.e. Marketplaces for PO’s, appointment, timely material unloading, payment receivable, stock and payment reconciliation etc. Sales depots, transporters for timely dispatch of material.
2. Vendor Management - Co-ordination with vendors on procurement of goods and services required for Marketing initiatives aligning Commercial and brand hierarchy
3. Negotiation with vendors, Agreements
4. Ensuring timely & accurately raising of POs
5. Timely payments to vendors
6. Coordination with internal stakeholders like corporate accounts, taxation, Finance for daily routine activities
7. Ensuring vendor account Hygiene – Open advances, Open GR’s, No due certificate from vendor, Monthly provisions
8. Co-ordination with divisional team, Sales commercial team for on time dispatches of Mktg Collaterals and sharing MIS.
9. Assisting Brand team in various activities like Launches, Activation, Events, etc.
10. Monitoring of spends and highlighting deviations
11. Cost monitoring of Budget vs Actuals and highlighting exceptions
12. MIS – Weekly, monthly, quarterly MIS relevant to commercial and Brand Hierarchy
13. Handling Monthly BAP/Overhead/ Input Expenses provisions.

Scope of Work

a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend): Handling marketing spend of approx. 10 crores

b) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide /Area-wide) - Entire country

C) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Subfunction-wide / Other): Company Wide


Key Interactions

Internal Commercial hierarchy, Brand team, Internal Audit, Accounts, SSC, IT, Legal etc.
External Vendors, Contractors, outsource manpower, Ecommerce Marketplaces, transport vendors etc.


Role Requirements / Specifications


• Any batch of graduation Desired
• Any professional course would be an added advantage

Previous Experience

Prior experience of 1 or 2 years in Accounts or Commercial team of E-Commerce industry is preferable. Experience of working on SAP ERP would be an added advantage.

Functional Competencies

• Conceptual clarity on accounting logic
• Good communication skills
• MS-Office usage skills

Behavioral Competencies Should be a team player and should have a positive attitude towards the company and towards work
