1. Position – Junior Officer, Procurement
Reporting to – Manager – Procurement
Business Unit: Animal Feed, Godrej Agrovet
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Job Level: 1
Location: Godrej One, Vikhroli, Mumbai (Head Office)
Job Responsibility:
• Provide support to Buying team in procurement transactions to ensure business operations
continuity.
• Creation and communication of purchase orders, preparing various MIS and collate market
information to aid buyers in decision making.
• Diligently working on various technology platforms available in GAVL to update and extract
information which can be utilised in buying processes.
• Continuously scan the markets for identification and introduction of new Raw materials,
technology, and vendors to enhance business competitiveness.
• Develop knowledge documents and context-based presentations to provide structured inputs on
subject matter.
• Scan and collate business critical information from various news sources, conference articles,
journals etc to keep teams updated with market and competition updates.
• Must always provide support to buyer/operations team as per the needs of manufacturing units
production plan.
• Must respect Organizational value systems and ensure compliances without requiring formal
supervision to meet all control and reporting objectives.
• Leverage GODREJ strengths in expanding a competitive vendor base and establish long term
relationships.

Qualification & Experience:
• Graduate with prior relevant experience of min 4 to 5 years in similar industries

• Hands on experience in analytics, news aggregation, professional PowerPoint presentations
• A knowledge of business applications like SAP MM, E-Auction platforms, Mobile Apps etc would
be desirable.
• Advance Excel proficiency – a good amount of MIS / data extraction and processing work must be
done independently.
• Good spoken and written communication skills of English and Hindi as they will have to interact
in multiple regions.
CTC Range: 3 Lacs to 4.5 Lacs
