Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the end-to-end weekly payroll processing for multiple Payroll entities and employee
populations, covering ~65K payslips every week.
• Gather, validate, and input time, attendance, and compensation data from various internal and
external sources.
• Calculate gross-to-net pay, deductions, and withholdings in compliance with all relevant tax and
labor regulations.
• Review preliminary payroll registers and make any necessary adjustments prior to final payroll
approval.
• Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of pay to employees via direct deposit and paper checks.
• Manage payroll-related employee inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain detailed payroll records and documentation, preparing reports as needed.
Payroll Accounting:
• Oversee the payroll accounting function, including general ledger postings, reconciliations, and
reporting.
• Ensure accurate recording of payroll liabilities, taxes, and other related financial transactions.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Vendor Management:
• Collaborate with the vendor to optimize processes, identify improvements, and implement new
payroll initiatives.
• Payroll Operations Team Guidance:
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the Payroll Operations team, enhancing their skills and
fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Set high standards for payroll processing accuracy and timeliness, ensuring robust SOX controls are
in place.
• Empower the team to identify and implement process simplifications, aligning with the "Invent and
Simplify" mindset.
Payroll Projects:
• Lead and support strategic payroll projects, such as system implementations, process
enhancements, and compliance initiatives.
• Analyze project requirements, develop implementation plans, and coordinate cross-functional
efforts.
• Communicate project status and outcomes to stakeholders, driving adoption and change
management.
Overall:
• Keep the team metrics in green.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with the team to enhance efficiency
and accuracy.
• Partner closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to resolve any payroll-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date on changing payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced payroll operations and accounting role, preferably
in a high-volume, global environment.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong working knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and labor laws.
• Proficient in using HRIS, payroll, and accounting software, with the ability to extract and
manipulate data.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external
stakeholders.
• Adaptable and proactive problem-solver, able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• CIPP certification preferred.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or
simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve
controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
