Job Description

Position: Territory Manager


Reporting to: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Location- Pan India

CTC- 2.5 LPA+ TA(Travel Allowance)- 1.5LPA( Please note this 1.5 LPA doesn't mean you'll get the this whenever you travel , it just means you can claim the amount you have spend on travelling out of this 1.5 LPA).
Purpose
Prescription generation through promotion of products with key stakeholders viz. doctors &
chemists within assigned territory & providing superior customer service.
Minimum requirements:
Experience: 0-1years Sales Experience.
Required Education:
Any Graduate.
Computer Knowledge (MS Office, Internet): To use various IT Applications (MS Office etc) in day-to-
day operations of field sales.
Key Skills Required:
 Positive body language in front of the customers. Self-driven, takes initiative, collaborative,
fast learning and positive mind-set.
 Perseverance – To face the high rate of rejections associated with this job and keep the
spirits high.
Key Stakeholders:
External: Doctors, Chemists, Stockists, Purchase officer at hospitals and institute, Nurses and
attendants.
Internal: RSM, SM, Training, PMT, Unnati, CFA & HR/EST.
Responsibilities:
Sales Target Achievement:
- Achieve growth and profitability in a given territory by generating prescriptions.
- Influences doctors to prescribe products and has a top-of-the mind recall of the products.
CRM and Business Development: build customer and market base for achieving present and future
business objectives.
- Keep track of specific customer needs and provide feedback regarding the same to ASM /
RSM / HO.
- Device innovative approaches and strategies to build strong relationships with doctors.
Compliance to field processes: Follow all the field processes as defined in the SOPs
- Daily / Monthly Plan of Doctor, Chemist, Stockist Coverage
- Doctor Coverage – Core / Non-core
- Sync of daily call reports
- Expense Statements
- Updates customer list as and when required
Stockist Management: ensure a good relationship with stockists and correct and timely sales
reporting.
New Product Launch: ensure successful launch of new products
- Conduct surveys for understanding the potential market for the new product
