Hailing from the Bidar district of Karnataka, Dilip has one of the most illustrative and diverse profile a talent can have. He started learning music at the young age of 7, and from then a single day hasn’t passed when Dilip wasn't afflicted to music. Having formal Western Classical Piano training with a Grade 5 degree whilst composing and singing songs of all genres including likes of Bhajan and folk, Dilip’s talents can be mapped in different parts of the musical Spectrum. He has been performing for almost two decades and pleasing the audience in the process. Dilip has performed for over 500 shows in different districts of Karnataka on behalf of Central Government song and drama division. Some of his notable performances include playing keyboard on the 72nd Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, Hampi Utsav 2010 and Yearly Bidar Utsav. Dilip has also taken part in numerous musical competition, winning First place in ‘Yuva Parthibotsav’ regional level light music completion in 2008, First place in Bhaijan, and folk song regional level competition in 2011. Dilip’s achievement goes beyond musical performance, as he is also running a school for visually impaired or blind children free of cost in Gandhi Ganz of Bidar. He has been a part of multiple social work activities and even stood in the election for multiple Zillas, so Dilips is a household name in Kadvada, but the passion for music always stayed and he took every step to maintain the same. Dilip also has the prowess in operating sound systems, computerize music composing, sound recording, editing, and mixing mastering, and also runs a small studio where he can be found working on his next project.
