Shibani Ghosh

Short Bio

Shibani is currently pursuing a B.A. in Vocal Music (Hons) at Rabindra Bharati University. Shibani is a singer for All India Radio Akashvani Kolkata, Yubabani on Adhunik, and Rabindra sangeet, and she has been recognized with the "Talentino Award" from Colours Bangla (Tv channel). She has appeared on numerous television shows, including Rupasi Bangla, Etv, Channel One, Orange Bangla, and High News. Shibani has also performed on various radio channels. In 2013, Shibani released her debut CD, "Tagore Vision." Her exceptional performance in singing earned her the "Role Model Award" from the West Bengal Government. She’s a State level champion in Rabindra Sangeet and has worked as a playback/studio singer with many Music Directors. She has performed for Yara. Shivani has had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of the most renowned artists. In one of her early performances, she shared the stage with Sachin Jambedkar, the famous harmonium player who had accompanied legends like Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. In her next show, Shivani performed in Amit Kumar’s concert, where she shared the stage with celebrated saxophonist Kishore Sodha, Sujay Bhoomik, RJ Arvind, Somdutta, Ujjaini, and others. One of the most memorable moments of her journey came when Padma Shri Hariharan sang a duet with her in the presence of Shankar Mahadevan. Both stalwarts deeply appreciated her singing, making it one of the greatest achievements of her career.
