Accounts Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting who enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial planning and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
* Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
* Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements accurately and on time.
* Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
* Record and maintain purchase, sales, payment, and receipt transactions in ERP/accounting systems.
* Support monthly closing activities, MIS reporting, and preparation of financial statements.
* Assist with statutory compliance activities including GST, TDS, PF, PT, ESI, and related filings.
* Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
* Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
* Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on pending payments.
* Conduct expense analysis and assist in budget monitoring activities.
* Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial processes.
* Hands-on experience with Tally, ERP systems, or other accounting software.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting. * Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
* Experience working in engineering, manufacturing, EPC, or project-based organizations.
* Knowledge of GST filing, TDS calculations, and vendor reconciliations.
* Familiarity with project billing, cost tracking, and financial controls will be an added advantage.
