Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Executive to support day-to-day finance and accounting operations. The role will involve Fixed Asset Accounting, GST and statutory compliance, stock and ledger management, C&F/Godown operations, reconciliations, payments, budgeting and audit/MIS support.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting processes and be comfortable working across both core accounting and finance administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle Fixed Asset Accounting and maintain accurate records in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage GST administration and support statutory and local tax-related activities.
- Handle accounting transactions related to stocks, remittances, and customer/vendor ledgers.
- Verify and process relevant financial documents, including orders, cash receipts and invoices.
- Handle vendor bills and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Manage C&F-related payments and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
- Support Godown/Warehouse management, including accounting and reconciliation of stocks and products.
- Handle transporter and freight-related payments.
- Perform General Ledger (GL) reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for statutory returns, local tax filings and required documentation.
- Support budgeting and cost-control activities, including monitoring expenses, commitments and cash flows against budgets.
- Assist the Finance team with audits, data collation and MIS reporting.
- Support day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and support the Finance team in ensuring timely closure of financial activities.
Education
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- MBA/PG in Finance will be preferred.
Experience
- 2–3 years of relevant Finance & Accounting experience.
- Candidates with experience in FMCG/manufacturing will be preferred.
- Practical experience in Fixed Asset Accounting and GST administration is preferred.
