Trainee Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

As a Machine Operator in a heavy commercial vehicle engine assembly plant, your duties would include:

• Running Machines: Operating machines that assemble engine parts.
• Tracking the Process: Ensure all processes are running well without any setbacks.
• Checking Quality: Inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Basic Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance like cleaning and lubricating machines.
• Fixing Issues: Troubleshooting and repairing machines if something goes wrong. Escalating to maintenance in case of breakdown.
• Following Safety Rules: Wearing protective gear and following safety guidelines.
• Recording Information: Keeping track of production and reporting any issues.
• Working with Others: Collaborating with your team to keep the assembly line running smoothly.
• Meeting Targets: Ensuring work is completed on time to meet production goals.
• Suggesting Improvements: Identifying ways to make the process more efficient.
