Aishwarya is a visually impaired 3D tactile artist and the Co-Founder of Grailmaker Innovations, where she leads the development of Spacefelt—an inclusive accessibility solution that brings audio descriptions for the visually impaired, sign language for the deaf and hard of hearing, and text for sighted audiences to public spaces, including art galleries. Her journey into the world of art began in 2008, after losing her eyesight due to a brain tumor. A decade later, a transformative visit to an art gallery in 2018 inspired her to reimagine how art could be experienced—through touch, not just sight. This led her to begin creating tactile artworks that are inclusive and accessible to people of all abilities. Since then, Aishwarya has created 28 accessible 3D paintings along with tactile emojis, fridge magnets, and educational 3D models of iconic subjects like the Titanic, human heart, and the Egyptian pyramid. Her work has been exhibited in India, the USA, and Dubai, and is known for blending artistic expression with universal design. Each of her creations is not only a sensory experience but also carries a story or message, making art a space for connection and understanding. Through Spacefelt and her tactile artworks, Aishwarya is breaking barriers in how art is experienced—ensuring it speaks to everyone, whether blind, deaf, or sighted.
