Short Bio
Binayak Bhattacharyya is 18 years old residing in Hooghly, West Bengal. He was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the year 2005. He is skilled in painting and writing poetry. Kavita Ashram, a well known publisher in West Bengal, published the book ‘Binayakrukur Diary’ in the year 2019 that made an uproar among the readers. There are three editions of this book and 4th is on its way. Meanwhile, his second book ‘Rukur Galaxy’, (a Guruchandali Prokashana) published in the Calcutta Book Fair 2020, made same impact on the readers. His paintings were exhibited and sold in the ‘India Habitat Centre’, Delhi, organized by Action For Autism (AFA) in the year 2017 and 2018. He also, sold paintings in the ’College Street Fair’ 2016, ‘Nazrul Mancha’ 2017 and at ‘Gallery Gold’, 2019 in Kolkata.
