Smt. Gunavathy Chandrasekaran started her career as Quilling /Paper filigree artist. She has around 10 years of experience as a Quilling artisan, Woman Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, Resource person, Trainer for more than 2500 artisans including rural women, Housewives and young students. Her Physical Challenge as a person with locomotor Disability of 60% has made her create her own path and achieve several laurels and honours. Her will power and determination to exceed the standards despite her Physical Challenge (60% Disability) got her the Coveted spot in a Prestigious Institute of IIM, Bangaluru. To mention: She is the recipient of STATE AWARD FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF TAMILNADU IN THE YEAR 2019 FROM THE HONOURABLE CHIEF MINISTER, TAMILNADU GOVERNMENT. She has also received several honours /awards at the State level Handicraft Commission, Clubs, NGO’s and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
