Manas Arvind is a resident of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and has Down’s Syndrome, which has caused fine motor challenges for him. Despite these challenges, Manas is not only an incredible artist but also enjoys playing tennis and participating in quizzes. With his mother's assistance, he has mastered several watercolour painting techniques. Painting can be challenging for him due to cognitive limitations that restrict his ability to spontaneously imagine or translate what he sees onto paper. She shows him real objects or paintings and they practice different brushstrokes to bring the painting to life.
