Morpheus Nag, an 18-year-old artist from Chandigarh, lives with 63% multiple disability, including Autism and Intellectual Disability. He is currently pursuing a diploma in Fine Arts at the Government College of Arts, Chandigarh, where he continues to refine his craft and passion for creativity. Working primarily with couture techniques in his drawings, Morpheus envisions dedicating his life to art, striving to make meaningful contributions to the field through dedication and innovation. Morpheus has showcased his work extensively across India in both solo and group exhibitions, including the Soch Ke Rang series, Kala Nirvana International Art Exhibition in Bhubaneswar, eCAPA Exhibitions in Delhi and Hyderabad, and prestigious venues such as Punjab University and the National Museum in New Delhi. His solo exhibitions across Chandigarh highlight his growing recognition and artistic presence.His achievements include being among the top ten selected artists at the state-level drawing competition at BBMB Punjab (2018), receiving a consolation prize at the National Level Art Competition (2020), winning the Gold Concept Award for his Corona artworks at Kala Nirvana (2023), and having his artwork Triumph of Venice featured in Art and Soul Magazine (2024). He was also honored with the Kundan Art Master Award in Class 10 at Kundan International School, Chandigarh.Through his art, Morpheus embodies resilience, creativity, and a vision to inspire, proving that disability is no barrier to artistic brilliance.
