A Powerful MoU, A moving story & A series like never before

Atypical Advantage signs an MoU with the Indian Navy

A collage of images clicked at the MOU signing ceremony.

Atypical Advantage signs an MoU with the Indian Navy and Navy Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA). In presence of Mrs. Shashi Tripathi, President NWWA, Saumya Mishra, Head of Inclusion Enablement from Atypical Advantage collaborated to create meaningful pathways for skill development, employment, and sustainable livelihoods for persons with disabilities (PwDs), including students from Sankalp Schools (an inclusive space for learning and therapy for children with disabilities from naval families.) For us at Atypical Advantage, it is truly a proud moment to be able to work for those who work for the safety of our nation. In true naval spirit, this is about standing by every individual and ensuring no one is left behind.

Happiness knocked on Dhvani’s door, after hardships stayed long as a guest

Dhvani P got hired as Office Assistant at Young Chemist.

Dhvani P. was born a healthy baby, but within months, her parents noticed she wasn’t responding to sounds. After several consultations, she was diagnosed with a hearing impairment at around one and a half years old. What followed was a long journey: Hearing aids, speech therapy, and years of uncertainty, with little progress. A turning point came when doctors suggested a cochlear implant. With hope and determination, her parents chose this path, followed by continued therapy and education. Despite long travels to specialized schools in Sabarmati and Paldi, Dhvani steadily learnt and grew with her strong grasping ability. Today, her family celebrates her new job as an Office Assistant at Young Chemist. And most importantly, Dhvani is extremely happy with her life; independent, confident, and moving forward with pride.

Driving real change with AstraZeneca through Neurodiversity Sensitization Series

A collage of screenshots from the Neurodiversity Sensitization Session.

Real change doesn’t happen in a single workshop and that’s exactly the approach we’ve taken with AstraZeneca. Through an ongoing Neurodiversity Sensitisation Series, we’re working across teams, from HR and Talent Acquisition to Neurodiversity Champions and People Managers, to build a more inclusive, informed workplace. The series started with a foundational session led by Juhi Pandya, Head of Hiring at Atypical Advantage, followed by deep-dive discussions on Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and more. So far, more than 75+ employees are impacted with these powerful sesisons and with more sessions in the pipeline covering the other disability type, the focus is simple: Move beyond awareness and make inclusion part of everyday decisions at work.

Accessible elections in India take a meaningful leap forward

Accessible elections in India take a meaningful leap forward.

From Tamil Nadu’s accessible Form 7A, aligned with EVM order, to Braille ballots in eastern India, the country is making powerful strides toward inclusive democracy. These initiatives enable visually impaired voters to cast their votes independently and in secrecy, reducing reliance on assistance and preserving dignity. Together, they mark a significant shift toward ensuring equal participation for all in the electoral process. (Source: X and News18)
