After several consultations, she was diagnosed with a hearing impairment at around one and a half years old. What followed was a long journey: Hearing aids, speech therapy, and years of uncertainty, with little progress. A turning point came when doctors suggested a cochlear implant. With hope and determination, her parents chose this path, followed by continued therapy and education. Despite long travels to specialized schools in Sabarmati and Paldi, Dhvani steadily learnt and grew with her strong grasping ability. Today, her family celebrates her new job as an Office Assistant at Young Chemist. And most importantly, Dhvani is extremely happy with her life; independent, confident, and moving forward with pride. | Driving real change with AstraZeneca through Neurodiversity Sensitization Series | Real change doesn’t happen in a single workshop and that’s exactly the approach we’ve taken with AstraZeneca.
