We locked in Inclusion, with Lockton | This week, inclusion found its home at Lockton. On 2nd June, a performance featuring Tushar Chandrakant Kamble, a visually impaired flutist whose journey began at the age of 10 in Mumbai, alongside Vijay Chandankar, a partially blind tabla artist whose rhythm is shaped by years of dedication, moved the audience. The moment their jugalbandi began, the room fell into a rare silence, carrying emotions that words could not capture. The experience then flowed into a powerful visual finale with Sheela Sharma, a nationally acclaimed mouth and foot painting artist from Lucknow. Despite losing both arms and part of a foot in childhood, she spent over three decades, working on her artistic skills. Painting alongside her two daughters, she created a moment that can only be experienced. The client shared: “The act was truly appreciated by everyone, and we look forward to working together again in the future.” | Jack of all Trades, Master of English Course | Our English Learning Course designed for the Deaf is created with a simple belief: language should never be a barrier to opportunity.
