What if silence was the loudest applause

We locked in Inclusion, with Lockton

A collage of images from Lockton featuring Foot and Mouth Artist painting a canvas and audience enjoying flute and tabla performance by our artist.

This week, inclusion found its home at Lockton. On 2nd June, a performance featuring Tushar Chandrakant Kamble, a visually impaired flutist whose journey began at the age of 10 in Mumbai, alongside Vijay Chandankar, a partially blind tabla artist whose rhythm is shaped by years of dedication, moved the audience. The moment their jugalbandi began, the room fell into a rare silence, carrying emotions that words could not capture. The experience then flowed into a powerful visual finale with Sheela Sharma, a nationally acclaimed mouth and foot painting artist from Lucknow. Despite losing both arms and part of a foot in childhood, she spent over three decades, working on her artistic skills. Painting alongside her two daughters, she created a moment that can only be experienced. The client shared: “The act was truly appreciated by everyone, and we look forward to working together again in the future.”

Creating abundance of opportunities, through Job Drives

Snippets from Delhi's job drive.

Recently, we hosted a successful Job Drive for Persons with Disabilities in Delhi in association with NAB, bringing together 60+ talented candidates across diverse experience levels and aspirations. From freshers looking for their very first stipend opportunity to professionals with over 26 years of work experience, the room reflected the incredible depth, ambition, and diversity of talent within the disability community. Focused on opportunities across multiple domains, the drive was not just well-organized, but also showcased candidate's strong self-belief and the determination to build careers on their own terms, without settling for less. We are now geared up to host similar job drives in multiple cities of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
