‘We Are One’ is a charitable trust that comprises artists who use wheelchairs and ones with hearing and speech impairments. The organization was founded by Mr Husnain, a professional wheelchair dancer who faced hardships due to his chosen profession.
However, he used his experience and passion to create an inclusive environment for others. Husnain has been praised by former Presidents of India, Pranab Mukherjee and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam along with the President of Singapore, Halima Yaqoob, for his endeavours in this field.
‘We Are One’ artists have performed in over 10 countries, including the USA, UK, Canada, Russia, Italy, and Singapore. Actors like Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Ranveer Singh, Mithun Chakraborty, Prabhudeva, Farah Khan, Anu Malik and Hrithik Roshan are fans of ‘We Are One’.
