. Samir. S. Kakkad has 80% disability in both legs and by profession, he is a Mechanical Engineer but has now devoted his life to empowering disabled people. He received the “Best entrepreneur” of the year award from the President of India for the year 2007. He has an impact all around the world and has created a World Record for the Longest Self Car Drive by a Specially Abled Person from India to London 14000kms, 15+ countries, 105 cities, and 8 time zones being the only one in the world to take up this challenge and is currently serving as the National President of ”All India Handicap Association“. They work for disabled people’s advocacy, and awareness and guide the handicapped community about rights.
