Short Bio

Shailesh is a talented young musician from Bengaluru who is on the autism spectrum. Despite facing daily challenges, he has developed remarkable musical abilities that continue to inspire everyone around him.

A self-taught musician, Shailesh plays five instruments drums, guitar, melodica, piano, and cajón entirely by ear. Gifted with perfect pitch, he can identify the scale of virtually any song and often recreates melodies after listening to them just once. One of his most impressive talents is performing songs while blindfolded, demonstrating his extraordinary auditory memory and deep connection with music.

Beyond music, Shailesh has a keen interest in automobiles and enjoys learning about the technical workings of cars. He is a warm and socially connected young person who thrives on encouragement and appreciation from those around him.

Shailesh dreams big. He hopes to one day meet the legendary music composer A.R. Rahman, own a beautiful bungalow, and collect the cars he admires so much. His determination and positive outlook reflect the confidence with which he approaches life.

As parents, it can be difficult to watch him navigate the challenges he faces every day. Yet, we firmly believe that music is his strength and his voice.
