Sugriv, hailing from Bihar and having relocated to Delhi as a child, embarked on his musical journey early on. He completed his 12th grade and pursued a degree in music from Delhi University, driven by a lifelong passion for music. His education began under Sri Sateesh Singh, who provided instruction in both vocals and instruments. Sugriv further honed his vocal skills with Shri Ankur Gupta and Shri Ajay Mishra. Throughout his career, Sugriv has been actively involved in music, achieving notable success in various competitions, including winning first prize at the National Music Competition for Visually Impaired Persons organized by Anurag Sangeet Sansthan in Jaipur. His performance credentials are impressive, with appearances at prestigious venues such as The Taj Palace, LTG Hall, and Central Park in Connaught Place. He also played at the opening ceremony of the Blind World Cup and performed at the Purple Fest in front of former President Shri Ram Nath Kovind and President Smt. Droupadi Murmu. Sugriv has collaborated with several musical ensembles, including Swar Utkarsh, Vaidik Nath Sanskrit Band, and Shining Stars Musical Band, and worked as a rhythm artist with renowned singer Manoj Tiwari.
