Vijay is a passionate and versatile percussion artist with extensive experience in Indian classical and contemporary music. Trained in Tabla from prestigious institutions such as Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal and Sangit Mahabharati, Mumbai, he has developed strong expertise in Tabla, Cajon, Djembe, and Shaker. With a deep dedication to rhythm and performance, Vijay continues to inspire audiences through his musical talent and stage presence. He is a Certified Mumbai Akashvani B Grade Tabla Artist and has been honoured with the Sangeet Sudha Award as well as recognition from the Rotary Club for his contribution to Ghazal performances. One of his major achievements includes playing Cajon for The Forgotten Army movie recording, which became part of a Guinness World Record event. Throughout his musical journey, Vijay has shared the stage with renowned artists including Pandit Upendra Bhat, Kumar Satyam, and Pandit Prasanna Madhav Gudi. Apart from music, he enjoys chess, cycling, marathon running, and listening to songs.
