Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in the product development domain. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects within our product department. This role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of the product development life cycle.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for product development projects.
  • Execute projects according to the project plan, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams.
  • Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation aligns with project priorities.
  • Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Proactively manage and communicate risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Conduct regular reviews and testing to validate project outcomes.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.
  • Provide regular budget updates to project sponsors and leadership.
  • Apply agile methodologies to manage and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk logs, and status reports.
  • Ensure documentation is accessible and updated regularly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the project management process.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices for project management in the product department.

 

Desired Skillset
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in a product development environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
