Job Description
Job Title: Key Account Manager - E-commerce (KAM E-commerce)
Location: Mumbai, India
Reports to: Senior KAM E-commerce
Job Purpose:
- Lead and build sales and commercial partnerships with e-commerce partners (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa)
- Drive brand strategy and implement best practices to deliver profitable growth, market share, and brand penetration
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage key e-commerce accounts and build profitable e-commerce models
- Analyze data to develop action plans for business development
- Evaluate and build new opportunities for brand penetration online
- Set up review mechanisms to generate MIS for decision-making
- Drive productivity in e-tailers through improved execution, P&L management, and customer relationship
- Develop promotional strategies for e-commerce channels
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales Regions for SKU rationalization
- Conceptualize and implement campaigns across select e-commerce portals
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in FMCG Key Account Management/Sales and Marketing
- Desirable experience in E-commerce and Key Account Management
- Strong analytical, influencing, and collaboration skills
- Good understanding of FMCG business environment and commercial finance
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Ability to make priorities and decisions in line with company policies/targets
Key Skills:
- Analytical mindset and knowledge of performance marketing metrics
- Proficient in PowerPoint presentations and Excel
- Strong interpersonal relations, customer service orientation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to motivate and empower others to reach organizational goals
