About the role
As an RCFM, you will be an integral part of the Finance team who collaborates with the Sales Division Head (DH) and other business functions in the Region. The key objective is to ensure commercial hygiene, support to DH with timely analytics, financial / commercial / internal controls that contribute to GCPL’s business growth.
Key Responsibilities –
Responsible for the Finance function of the Sales region which includes accounting, analytics, audit, commercial controls and sales business partnering.
Partnering with relevant stakeholders for the organization level initiatives
Engagement with 300+ distributors as well as 80+ field team to ensure commercial hygiene in the business.
Managing distributor credits, controlling receivables, handling exceptions and ensuring policy compliance
Complete ownership of regional trial balance and monthly closing
Undertake quarterly closure of ROI calculations for Distributors.
Driving and owning Sales Commercial Function KPIs in the region along budgeting and variance analysis, MIS and dashboards
Leading and monitoring GST compliances for the region
Overseeing process controls w.r.t. commercial and accounting activities (AR, BTL schemes, Distributor claims & F&Fs, quarterly NDCs, monthly closing and unsaleable audit)
Responsible for region’s statutory as well as internal audit and ensuring zero audit observations.
Developing operational excellence in all aspects for the region
Qualification & Experience –
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience post qualification
FMCG/consumer durables experience preferred
Skills required –
Good understanding of commercial processes and business acumen
Good logical and analytical skills
Excellent communication, presentation skills
Ability to influence various stakeholders, team management
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities as per timelines
