Job Description: Quality Control Shift In-charge
Job Purpose:
To ensure smooth functioning of store operations by effectively managing SAP inventory transactions, ensuring timely dispatches, accurate documentation, and maintaining real-time stock visibility. This role is critical for ensuring material availability, compliance, and process adherence at the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & SAP Management
Operate SAP modules related to logistics and inventory transactions.
Manage inbound and outbound entries: GRN, RGP/NRGP, PO, STO, and stock reports.
Maintain accurate physical and system stock alignment on a daily basis.
Generate end-to-end MIS reports for internal stakeholders.
Ensure timely creation and rectification of E-way bills.
Dispatch & Documentation
Ensure timely dispatch of consignments to all parties.
Prepare export and domestic bills in SAP.
Maintain the daily vehicle dispatch tracking sheet and ensure documentation compliance.
Team Handling
Manage contract manpower for loading/unloading operations.
Provide leadership and daily guidance to store team members.
Operation Excellence
Unload and physically verify incoming material.
Ensure continuous process improvement and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Work closely with procurement, planning, and production teams for material coordination.
Safety Responsibilities:
Shall be responsible for the Safety requirements of his work area and shall ensure the Safety compliance. Knowledge / Skills – Should be conversant with the Safety requirements, Safety
Protocols and any specific Safety Related Laws and Regulations applicable to the work area and should have demonstrated the same.
Skill Set & Requirements:
Qualification:
Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any relevant discipline.
Experience:
4–6 years of relevant experience in store operations with hands-on SAP exposure.
Additional Requirements:
o Good communication skills (Hindi & English)
o Strong knowledge of SAP (MM/SD module preferred)
o Team leadership and people handling capabilities
o Problem-solving attitude and adaptability
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet timelines
o High ownership, attention to detail, and process discipline
