Short Bio
Hrishikesh Vispute, a 26-year-old autistic artist from Mumbai, has completed his SSC and Diploma in Fine Arts at Rishikesh Kala Mahavidyalaya, affiliated with Sir J J School of Arts. He was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD at the age of 2. Hrishikesh has been recognized at both State and National levels for his exceptional drawing skills, receiving a Gold Medal in the KALAWART National Art Contest 2019 in the open category. His artworks have been exhibited at prestigious venues, including the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi ('Art Connects: A Visual Exploration of Autism' in 2023) and the National Museum, Delhi ('Art Beyond Labels: Artistic Expression of Neurodiversity' in 2024). Hrishikesh specializes in abstract painting, using non-representational forms, colors, and textures to convey emotions and concepts. Additionally, he has been honored by the Government of India and the Maharashtra Government for his achievements in art. Besides his passion for painting, Hrishikesh is also very fond of music.
