What is happening at Atypical Advantage? <Tap to Know>
A global management consulting firm approached us with an unconventional request: merging two artists from different backgrounds onto one stage. Our initial doubts vanished when Musical Weaves, a dynamic 3-piece band, warmly welcomed Resham, a talented solo singer, for a unique collaboration. The result? Magic! Their versatility and synergy shattered doubts, proving talent knows no bounds. For the third consecutive year, Atypical was honored to be part of this firm's Diwali celebrations, and the feedback was glowing: 'This is the third time Atypical has made our Diwali unforgettable. Thank you for an electrifying session!
We recently conducted a highly engaging and interactive sensitization session with over 40 participants from Volvo Technologies. The session focused on raising awareness, challenged stereotypes, and fostered empathy through discussions, exercises, and personal anecdotes.
"This session opened my eyes to the importance of accessibility in our workplace." - Volvo Technologies Participant
It marked a significant step towards creating a more inclusive and empathetic work culture at Volvo Technologies.
Tata Power, in association with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), partnered with Atypical Advantage to host a captivating live art event at Divya Kala Mela in Jabalpur. Shreya Gupta, an artist with Hearing Impairment, created a breathtaking 4x3 ft canvas artwork on the theme of Inclusion, raising awareness about Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). In a unique interactive twist, the audience co-created the art by adding their handprint impressions in vibrant colors, forming the base of Shreya's stunning masterpiece, epitomizing the spirit of inclusivity and creativity.
We recently conducted a productive plant visit to Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) in Khamgaon, Maharashtra to explore opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in Blue Collar roles. The agenda focused on understanding plant operations, roles, and functions to identify potential job openings suitable for PwD. HUL, already a committed partner, has consistently provided immense support and this visit aimed to strengthen our collaboration and create more inclusive employment opportunities within the plant. Here's a glimpse of our visit with the plant manager and HUL team.
