Not a campaign. Not a conversation. But a spotlight.

A moment of pride: Adani’s India Has Talent outshines disability over talent

A collage of images from Adani's India Has Talent event in Ahmedabad.

In association with Atypical Advantage, Adani GreenX Talks hosted a competition unlike anything seen before. What began in February became a month-long journey with more than 400+ participations through auditions, shortlists, rehearsals, and countless backstage hours, all leading to one defining moment: a grand physical event in Ahmedabad. Individuals once made to doubt themselves stood tall and were celebrated for one reason alone: their brilliance. And then there were moments that stayed with us, like a dancer with an intellectual disability who froze on stage, yet the crowd only cheered louder until he smiled again. There was no boundary of who belonged to whom, just one big family, cheering for each other. These talents were then felicitated on 26th Feb at Adani's GreenX Talks event and honestly, what could be a more powerful way to change perception than that?

Jio Star leaders shine with changed perceptions about disability

A snippet from Juhi and Laharee's sensitization sessions in Ahmedabad.

Two cities, two rooms full of decision-makers and one powerful shift in perspective. Recently we conducted 2 disability sensitization sessions for Jio Star in Mumbai and Bangalore for their HR and Talent Acquisition teams. Engaging more than 100+ leaders across these locations, the conversation revolved around one question: How do we build everyday workplace solutions, that make inclusion real across the entire employee life cycle? The sessions were interactive and practical, filled with real scenarios, challenging questions, and actionable insights. “Both the sessions were great and our participants have shared great feedback post the event,” said Prerna form Jio Star Team.

From a tough start to landing job at an MNC: Story of John

An image of John against a peppy purple background.

John A. grew up with a visual disability, navigating classrooms that weren’t built for him and learning to adapt from a young age. What could have slowed him down instead pushed him to work harder and believe in his own ability. Today, that determination has led him to secure a role as Global HR Trainee at an MNC. Reflecting on his journey, John shared, “My experience with Atypical Advantage has been very positive. The entire process was smooth, well-coordinated, and transparent from start to finish. The team was approachable and ensured that every step was clearly communicated, which made the overall experience seamless.”

Ahmedabad Teen With Disability to Write Board Exam Papers with His Foot

Ahmedabad Teen With Disability to Write Board Exam Papers with His Foot.

In Ahmedabad, 15-year-old Nitin Kumar Paswan, who has a 60 % disability affecting his hands, has chosen to write his Class 10 board exams using his foot rather than use a writer. Having practised this skill since childhood, he has developed the speed and neatness required to complete exams independently. Despite early challenges in securing school admission and financial hardships, his determination and family support have enabled him to pursue his academic goals, with aspirations to join the railways in the future.
