WNS experiences a blend of music and meaningful awareness

A collage of screenshots from Shreyan's performance at WNS.

WNS recently hosted a powerful session that brought together a Neurodiversity Awareness workshop and an unforgettable performance for 200+ participants. At the heart of it all was Shreyan, a truly remarkable keyboard artist on the autism spectrum, who transformed the space into something far more meaningful than just a performance. With soul-stirring renditions of Hollywood’s most popular songs, he created an emotional connection that lingered with every listener. The session ended on an emotional high, with heartfelt appreciation from the audience and immense pride reflected in the smiles of Shreyan and his parents, turning the moment into a celebration of talent, courage, and the power of truly being seen.

Tata Power went all in, this Autism Awareness month

A collage of photos clicked across all the locations at Tata Power.

Tata Power curated a thoughtfully designed Autism Awareness initiative by empowering 6 artists across 4 locations. In Chennai, Arpith Ashok facilitated tote bag and mandala art, while R Kedhar created a striking wall mural. In Mumbai, Shreya Gupta led a mandala art activity, Ananya Halarnkar engaged participants through singing and keyboard, and Nehal Tiwari conducted a stone art workshop, each artist contributing meaningfully to the larger narrative of inclusion and awareness. In Bangalore and Bhubaneshwar, tile art activity was conducted by our artists Gayatri and R.Kedhar respectively. The session opened with an insightful talk on autism and as it progressed, individuals immersed themselves in the creative process of tile painting. The CSR Head remarked, “If Raja Ravi Verma were alive, he would have hugged the artists,” a powerful acknowledgment of their talent and expression.

Artist paints government schools with a powerful message

A collage of all the wall murals painted at the government schools.

Across six government schools in Delhi, learning found a new canvas. Each wall, spanning 100 square feet, was transformed into a vibrant mural under the theme “पढ़ेगा हर बच्चा, बढ़ेगा हर बच्चा,” (Padhega har bacha, bhadega har bacha) turning classrooms into powerful reminders of possibility. At the heart of these murals stands a flourishing tree, whose branches spread playfully with children reading, learning, and dreaming. The mural reflects how education nurtures young minds, helping them rise stronger and reach new heights. This transformation was brought to life by our talented artists, Budh Singh and Sandeep Kumar Nayak, whose thoughtful execution has reimagined these school walls as spaces of inspiration for every child who walks past them. Adding a deeply personal touch to this journey, students from the Bharola centre created heartfelt greeting cards for Sandeep, small gestures filled with gratitude that made the experience not just impactful, but truly unforgettable.

Pension is a right, not a favour: HC orders full arrears for ex-serviceman.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court upheld full disability pension arrears for an ex-serviceman, rejecting the Centre’s attempt to limit payments. The court stressed that pension is a legal right and must be granted from the due date once eligibility is proven, calling delays and restrictions unjustified. (Source: TOI)
