Short Bio
Kedhar is 21 years old. He is under the Autism spectrum. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Even when his verbal communication didn't develop well he used to communicate through drawing when he was around 4. His expressions expanded to multiple pages through drawing. Slowly his artistic skills were channelized by some great teachers who have given space for Kedhar to explore this path from his perspective. Kedhar, as a visual learner approaches his learning materials in the form of visual sketch notes. Right from his schooling he prepared his notes visually for his own better understanding. Kedhar has participated in several art exhibitions. He prefers to sketch nature through line drawings. He also loves object sketching and architectural designs. Kedhar is autistic. He lacked communication when he was young. After coming from school, he would pour out the stored frustration on the paper. He loved to draw. He used drawing as a main mode of communication. This encouraged us to explore further his communication and also his drawing and painting skills. Kedhar was pursuing his education in a regular school 10th from NIOS. He is a visual learner. He used video scribe (whiteboard. software) for all his learning even to date. Now he has come up a long way. He can travel independently to anywhere in Hyderabad. He had once traveled independently from Chennai to Hyderabad. He has appropriate communication and social skills now. His friends and faculty have been a great support for him. He wants to pursue MFA.
