Suman Dutta resides in Kolkata, West Bengal. He is affected by an Intellectual Disability. Suman was admitted to a special school, Noble Mission of South Calcutta, in the same year where he started learning about various art forms. Starting with basic drawings and paintings, Suman now aces in making various craft items like envelope, wind chimes, folders, boxes, chandmalas, etc. He also makes block print designs. He received an award and certificate in 2010, by "Jana Shikkha Proshar Daftar", when he was 15 years old to celebrate his merit and exponential improvement after training. He has utilised this quarantine actively by making various craft items that people have loved and bought to decorate their homes.
