Because once is not enough: Performances at Inorbit Mall | Following the success of the Independence Day performance in Mumbai last year, this Republic Day, the Inorbit Mall team requested repeat performances in Navi Mumbai by the Udan Band and included artists Ankita and Arjun for their Vadodara Mall. Surrounded by hundreds of people who gathered for one simple reason, to hear them sing, our artists may not have seen smiles or watched them dance, but they felt the energy in the air, the cheers, and the applause between every song. Paralympic couples like Rohit and Hemlata More, and veterans Vinod and Rohini Rawat, led the inspiring field, using the platform to promote inclusivity and advocate for improved wheelchair accessibility across India. Policymakers, disability advocates, and experts examined the Act’s decade-long impact on inclusive education, skill development, employment and other key areas. The event featured senior government officials, including the Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, as chief guest, spotlighting efforts to strengthen rights and opportunities for persons with disabilities across India.
