December, a wrap and a new beginning 🎀

December, a wrap and a new beginning

December is always an action-packed month for Atypical Advantage due to World Disability Day celebrations, and 2025 was no different. From sensitizing 10k+ corporate employees and upskilling 1.5k+ students with disabilities, to providing opportunities to 350+ artists with disabilities and working with 50+ leading brands, we can only be grateful for the immense love and support shown.

When Decision makers were compelled to change mindsets

We stepped up our efforts to bring disability inclusion to the forefront. We sensitised decision-makers from Godrej Consumer Products, Nestlé, Uno Minda, Reliance, NIVEA, ITC and 50+ other brands.

Vineet, in conversation with Sunil Kakkar, Senior Executive Director at Maruti Suzuki India Limited on the roadmap of inclusive hiring at Maruti Suzuki. 4. Laharee, sensitizing 250+ leaders at Reliance Retail.

Through engaging panel discussions, assistive tech booths, simulation games, ceramic & doodling workshops, and motivational talks, these leaders experienced inclusion firsthand.

Bridging the skilling divide is an immediate priority

We conducted training sessions with Target, TCE, Infosys, Tata Power, and KFC ranging from English lessons for Deaf employees to a first-of-its-kind UI/UX course for individuals on the autism spectrum. Over 15 individuals graduated from the Target Udaan program, while some individuals on the autism spectrum secured their first-ever freelancing projects through our UI/UX design program, and 10+ participants completed specialized employability training program successfully and are now interning with TCE.

Photos in order: 1. Employability Training at Target for 15+ candidates with disabilities. 2. Train & Hire program at TCE, unlocking internship opportunities for 10+ persons with disabilities. 3. Training 25+ neurodiverse individuals as Ui/Ux designers in collab with Tata Power. 4. Employability Training for 250+ persons with disabilities in collab with Infosys. 5. Conducting specialised English training program for KFC’s hearing-impaired employees.

Art, Performance, and a Year-End Brunch

Finally, we turn to our talented artists. From our second international exhibition in Dubai featuring 350+ artists, to painting 10+ glass facades at Mad Over Donuts and exciting performances at State Street, PwC, EY, Epsilon and 20+ brands, our community truly shone brightly.

Photos in order: 1. Few of 350+ paintings displayed in Dubai Art Exhibition by Indian Artists with disabilities. 2. Shibani, singer with Visual Impairment, performing at PwC Kolkata. 3. And it’s not over yet. If you’re in New Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur, or Kolkata, join us for a special New Year brunch hosted by The LaLiT, featuring four talented performers with disabilities. It’s our way of saying: Inclusion doesn’t take a holiday.

Inclusive brunch at The Lalit at four locations- Kolkata, Udaipur, Chandigarh, New Delhi on 1st Jan, 12 pm onwards.

A Note of Gratitude

To the organizations that trusted the process, to the artists and storytellers who brought honesty into every experience, and to the allies who leaned in even when it was uncomfortable, thank you. Each of you has made this journey meaningful.

Thankyou by Deepak, in Indian Sign Language.

As we carry these lessons forward into 2026, we’re not hitting reset, we’re building on them. Here’s to more natural, seamless inclusion in the new year. Atypical Advantage wishes you a very Happy and Inclusive New Year 2026!

Happy New Year 2026.
