Hosting the cutest workshop ever at Ather Energy

Collage of photos taken during the virtual session conducted with children of Ather's employees. Includes photos of the trainers - Archana and Laharee.

Ather Energy came up with a unique idea of including the kids of their employees in a fun, learning-packed session. This wasn’t just any workshop; it was a blend of ISL (Indian Sign Language) and doodling! The kids spoke their favourite alphabets, which were magically transformed into adorable doodles by our artist Archana, while parents and children learned how to sign those letters in ISL with Laharee’s help. The energy was contagious! The kids’ curiosity, enthusiasm, and quirky remarks turned an ordinary workday into a weekend vibe. With no dull faces on the screen, Ather Energy shared that the kids have already started using ISL at home and teaching their friends too. Moments like these are exactly why we do what we do. Learning, laughter, and little hands making big impacts.

KFC India kicks off Written English Comprehension training for SHI employees

A screenshot from the first training session conducted for KFC India's SHI employees virtually.

On 3rd October, KFC India, in partnership with Atypical Advantage, kicked off the first batch of the Written English Comprehension Initiative under the Kshamata inclusion programme, for 50+ speech and hearing-impaired (SHI) employees. The virtual programme, led by Akhil Sakella, dives into grammar, reading comprehension, and email writing, with a curriculum thoughtfully tailored for SHI employees, many of whom had their early education in Indian Sign Language (ISL). Participants joined from pan-India branches, with a few connecting from Nepal. The silent smiles, unspoken understanding, and eagerness to learn created a special bond between the trainer and the employees in their very first session.

Chai Pe Charcha with Vineet Saraiwala

Collage of images of Vineet along with all his incredible guests from across industries.

On the sidelines of The Purple Fest, something heartwarming unfolded. Over cups of tea and plates of delicious snacks, Vineet Saraiwala hosted a cozy meet & greet with some incredible guests. Vaibhav, Head of Talent & Aarti, Diversity & Inclusion Lead from Nestlé, Parmesh, Head - Godrej DEI Lab, Maira, Lead DEI - Godrej Capital, Pritam, Brand Manager - GCPL, the visionary founders of Enable India - Shanti and Dipesh, and none other than Pranav Bakshi, India’s first male model with autism along with few others, visited Vineet in Goa. It wasn’t a formal meet, rather laughter, warm conversations, and genuine connections blossomed over shared food and smiles. Because sometimes, the most beautiful bonds are born not in meetings, but in moments like these. Here’s a glimpse from this afternoon.

Experts Advocate for Inclusive Workspaces to Empower PwDs

At the purple fest in Goa, experts emphasized the importance of creating inclusive workspaces for persons with disabilities (PwDs). They highlighted the need for accessible infrastructure, assistive technologies, and sensitization among employers and co-workers to promote equal opportunities for PwDs. Such initiatives not only integrate PwDs into the workforce but also contribute to their self-reliance and social inclusion. (Source: TOI)
