Vikram Dutt had a spinal injury in 1976 which rendered him with a locomotor disability. He is a retired professor of mass communication and journalism, as well as a former college principal. In his free time, he thoroughly enjoys life by reading, writing, giving motivational lectures, and speaking at TEDx events. Furthermore, he is an educational expert who serves on the board of various mainstream and inclusive schools, among other activities. Currently, he is the project manager for the CBR program at the All India Confederation of the Blind.
