Debashree, who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 3, has come a long way with the help of therapy.
She has actively participated in various singing events, including representing her school in Solo Music and winning many prizes during her teenage years. She has also won prizes in Jigsaw Puzzle (Senior Group) and International Event for the Visually, Mentally, & Physically Challenged held at Lucknow in 2011 & 2012 respectively. In 2019-20, she participated in an International Talent Competition organized by a Hong Kong-based NGO, and her song was selected as the “Most Popular Song”. During the lockdown, she participated in an Online Song Competition and won the most popular singer award.
