Short Bio
Mr Amit Mishra has been associated with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) since May 2017 as Assistant Director – Skill Development. He has been responsible for designing, planning and strategic implementation of programs for stakeholders' engagement (government, Industry, academia etc.) to promote skill development and vocational education in the country. Mr Mishra has actively promoted NAPS 2.0 by organizing over twenty thought leadership sessions in different industrial hubs of the country. Mr Mishra has successfully planned two delegations during the WorldSkills competition in 2017 & 2019 for senior government officials and Industry to Abu Dhabi, UAE & Kazan, Russia. In April 2018, he designed and executed a skill conference for promoting the Skill India Mission and strengthening the partnership between the UAE and India, where he coordinated with several government departments of India, states and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), Government of UAE. He also played a crucial role in designing and executing roadshows to promote the Jharkhand Government initiative in skilling through a series of workshops and one international delegation to Dubai, led by the Chief Minister of the State. Mr Mishra has represented FICCI on various platforms, committees, taskforces and forums created by central & state government departments, agencies and think tanks.
