Prathamesh Jayant Bendre is a 27 years old blind writer, poet and aspiring songwriter from Mumbai, the city of dreams. With his parents also being blind and only an older sister who can see, Pratham has developed a different world view through his experiences, which sometimes finds expression in his writing. Recently, he featured in a television reality show called Sau Karod ka Kavi, a pan-Indian show featuring 40 of the best poets from across the country. He loves when people appreciate his works, gather in a queue to meet him and shake hands with him after his live shows. He has a dream to write for films and become a known face.
