Short Bio
When his disability was diagnosed at the age of three and a half, an ophthalmologist told his mother that education would likely be out of reach for him. However, he proved this prediction to be nothing more than an attitudinal barrier. Not only did he excel in academics, but he also secured the 12th rank in the general merit list of the Rajasthan State Services Examination, eventually becoming a Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) officer. His journey has been marked by persistent challenges, but through determination and resilience, he has overcome numerous barriers. A Rajasthan University gold medalist with a Master’s degree in Psychology, he completed his Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Counselling and Psychotherapies. In 2004, driven by a deep desire to promote personal development, he began designing life skills training modules and conducting workshops in schools, colleges, and various institutions. Combining his academic knowledge of applied psychology with practical insights drawn from his lived experiences, he created impactful programs focused on life skills, disability inclusion, and mental well-being.Since joining the Rajasthan Administrative Services in 2011, he has continued this parallel journey—organizing and facilitating training sessions across government and non-government platforms. Raising awareness about disability issues and promoting mental health and life skills remain his lifelong mission.
